Whether you already began your recovery journey and
are looking for support and ongoing therapy, or if you are just starting out and don’t know where to begin, we want to help you navigate it.

Our Years of research and experience shows that people can’t do this alone, having support is crucial for everyone involved in order for recovery to be successful and we want to be part of your support network and empower you through this healing process.

Our experienced counselors have extensive education, understanding and experience with substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. We understand that this is a very complex and challenging disease to live with for both the person struggling and their loved ones, it can affect many different areas of life, and can vary by the individual and their circumstances. This makes it extremely important to address the specific needs of the individual to begin building on a foundational piece of the recovery and healing process.

Our goal is to provide a safe, confidential space to explore thoughts and feelings, while addressing the roles addiction has played in all life areas. Because continuation and consistency of care plays a large role in the recovery process, we want to provide counseling services and guidance throughout this process to ensure our patients get the best care possible.

Our mission is to use a client-centered and personalized treatment approach, to provide a safe, supportive environment where clients feel empowered to navigate their challenges and achieve lasting positive change.

Our counselors use a client-centered approach and an array of modalities including CBT, DBT, ACT, and MI, among others: tailored to your unique needs and goals. We know autonomy and your right to make your own choices is very important, and in order to make an informed decision it’s important to fully
understand this disease and the various treatment options you have. We want to help support and guide you through this difficult process, listen without judgment and empower you on your journey to healing and growth.

Meet Our Team

Barbara D. Davis

Barbara D. Davis, FNP, is a family nurse practitioner and a mother to three beautiful children. She provides compassionate care to patients at Aseda Suboxone and Wellness in Danvers, Massachusetts.

Barbara has worked as a registered nurse and family nurse practitioner in health care for the past eight years. Her decision to focus on addiction medicine stemmed from firsthand experience. A few years back, a member of Barbara’s family passed away from opioid and alcohol use disorder. It was one of the most challenging things she’s dealt with, and she is still healing from such a profound loss.

After this loss, Barbara had the opportunity to work in addiction recovery. She knew it was the perfect lane because it would allow her to help people and make a difference in society.

Barbara has been working in addiction recovery medicine for the past two years to help combat this opioid battle. Since then, she has realized the massive and heartbreaking impact opioids have had and continue to have on families and the community.

The rate of opioid use rises every year, and as a provider, Barbara’s focus is to save lives from being destroyed by substance use, one person at a time.
